DOC-AID Urgent Care is one of just two urgent care clinics out of 7 in the Laredo area that are authorized to provide urgent care services to veterans. We accept veterans that have VA insurance under CCN program as well as active duty or retired military and their family members with Tricare. Call for more information (956) 523-0966.

As a walk-in medical clinic, you don’t need an appointment to be seen. Just walk-in at your convenience. However, we do recommend calling to begin the registration process and speed up your visit. Our urgent care center is a one-stop-shop for your nonemergency illnesses or injuries.

VA CLINIC SERVICES

The urgent care benefit covers services provided by urgent care centers and walk-in retail health clinics such as:

• Colds, minor injuries, skin and ear infections, pink eye, strep throat, and more.
• Diagnostic services like lab testing and medications (with limitations).
• Therapeutic vaccines when these are required for the treatment of certain covered conditions.

IMPORTANT: Urgent Care is NOT a Replacement for Preventive or Emergency Care Under the VA Mission Act, veterans who are eligible will be able to receive care and treatment from an urgent care provider that is authorized through the VA as an authorized urgent care center.

To be eligible for urgent care, Veterans must:
• Be enrolled in the VA health care system AND
• Have received care through VA from either a VA or community provider within the past 24 months

We serve patients locally in Laredo, Hebbronville, Zapata, Carrizo Springs, Cotulla, Eagle Pass, and throughout the state of Texas via our Telehealth option, and provide 24/7 medical care throughout the state of Texas via our Telehealth option. Our providers can send lab orders to any Quest or LabCorp location in Texas. We can also provide referrals to specialists when needed. Not all appointments qualify for telehealth visits.
